"Specializing in High-End Luxury Watch Repair"

Joseph Herold

Joseph Herold of Swiss Lever Watch Services began his career in 1985 under the tutelage of Al Bennett of Al Bennett Jewelers in Montecito, California. Since 1987, he had worked for a group of Luxury line retailers in California. In 1998 he landed a position with Rolex Service in Beverly Hills, where he spent 11 years, working in many varied capacities as Estimator and Watch Technician, through Quality Control as well as Shop Supervisor.

Joseph graduated from the Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Education Program with outstanding marks and has completed his CW21 certification through AWCI.

Joseph is a member of the AWCI - American Watchmakers & Clockmakers Institute, and the NAWCC - National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. The American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute is the U.S. trade association representing the timekeeping or “horology” industry. This includes clock makers, watch makers, and the industries that serve them. They are the public's resource for information on timepiece repair, sales and education. The Institute is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of workmanship and professional ethics for the industry. Certification from AWCI means that a watch maker or clock maker has proven to a board of professionals that he or she has the skills to perform quality repairs on the materials for which they are certified.

Joseph firmly ascribes to the AWCI Code of Ethics:

“In business practices, each member will conduct him or herself in such a manner that will reflect positively on him or her, on AWCI, and the entire watch and clock repair industry, including all its participants.”
